How it all Started?
Septimber started in a little shed in Pryor, Oklahoma. What began as a simple woodworking hobby slowly turned into something I really fell in love with. I’ve been wood turning since 2014, and over the years I found myself spending more and more time in the shop just making things because I enjoyed it.
At some point it clicked that I couldn’t keep everything that I made forever—and that this didn’t have to stay just a hobby. I realized it could also become a source of income doing something I truly enjoy.
The name came from my wife, Rachel. September is the month we got married, and timber is just another term for wood. Rachel loves puns, so combining the two is how we landed on the name Septimber.
Everything I make still carries those same beginnings with it—simple, intentional, and made by hand. What started in a small shed has grown into something I’m proud to share, one piece at a time.
